Crypto Price Prediction 24 August – XRP, Bitcoin, Solana

Crypto is bouncing hard again, but the biggest catalyst today is not coming from a blockchain.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent may now have almost $1 trillion of firepower to support expanded long-term bond buybacks, after Treasury officials said its roughly $950 billion cash account could be used to fund the program.

That matters for crypto because larger bond purchases can push long-term yields lower. When returns on safer assets fall and the dollar weakens, investors often become more willing to move money into Bitcoin and other riskier assets.

Bitcoin is now pressing against $80,000, XRP is back near $1.50 and Solana has reclaimed the mid-$90s. The charts suggest all three have broken important levels, but the next move may not be straight up.

XRP Price Prediction – 100% Move Incoming?

XRP has jumped roughly 50% from its August 17 low, while U.S. spot XRP ETFs have now attracted about $1.55 billion in cumulative net inflows.

Ripple also added another banking win last week, with Jeonbuk Bank becoming the first regional bank in South Korea to adopt Ripple Payments for cross-border transfers.

Technically, XRP has exploded out of the long downtrend that controlled price for most of the past year and is now trading around $1.50.

The first major level to watch is $2. A clean break above it would put the old $3.50 resistance zone back in play, which would mean a gain of more than 100% from current levels.

If XRP can eventually clear $3.50, the chart opens a much larger bullish path toward $8. That is the aggressive scenario, not the base case.

The immediate risk is overheating. Daily RSI is above 83, which is extremely overbought, so a pullback would be normal after such a fast move. The $1 area is now the key support bulls need to defend.

Bitcoin Price Prediction – Is $100,000 Back on the Table?

Bitcoin has real money behind its rebound. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in nearly $1.92 billion in five days last week as BTC surged from roughly $63,000 to almost $80,000.

Today’s Treasury report adds another potential tailwind because more aggressive bond buybacks could keep downward pressure on long-term yields, the same backdrop that helped ignite Bitcoin’s breakout last week.

The technical picture has changed dramatically. Bitcoin has broken cleanly above the symmetrical triangle that had trapped price around $62,000 to $66,000 and is now trading near $79,000.

The next target sits around $82,000. If buyers can push through that level and turn it into support, the chart leaves relatively little major resistance before the previous $90,600 high.

Above that, $100,000 comes back into view as the major psychological target, roughly 26% above current prices.

But Bitcoin is stretched in the short term. The 4-hour RSI is above 74, so a rejection at $82,000 could trigger a cooldown toward $70,000 before another attempt higher. Holding the breakout zone would keep the broader bullish setup intact.

Solana Price Prediction – Can SOL Reach $250?

Solana just received one of its clearest institutional endorsements yet. Morgan Stanley’s Solana Trust gives investors exchange-traded exposure to SOL, and the product intends to stake part of its holdings through institutional validators including Galaxy.

The latest Galaxy staking deal is designed to pass the resulting staking rewards through to shareholders, bringing a core part of Solana’s economics into a Wall Street product.

SOL has now broken above the descending channel that capped price through June, July and early August, with price trading around $97.

The first important Fibonacci resistance is near $116. Above that, the chart points toward $150, $178 and then the $200 to $225 area.

If the broader crypto rebound continues and SOL can reclaim those levels, the $250 target becomes realistic. That would still require a move of roughly 158% from current prices, so it is a longer-term bullish target rather than an immediate call.

As with XRP, momentum is extremely hot. Daily RSI is above 85, making a pullback toward the $80 area possible before another leg higher. The major long-term support remains around $60.
