Solana just had the busiest month in its history, and the timing could hardly be better.

The network processed a record 4.2 billion transactions in July, up 13.5% from June and 91% since December.

SOL has already pushed back toward $100, raising the question of whether activity is accelerating just as the market backdrop starts improving too.

There are reasons for optimism.

The U.S. Treasury is doubling certain long-term bond buybacks, while talks around Iran have made “significant progress”.

If tensions ease further, lower oil and inflation fears could give risk assets like crypto even more room to run.

With Solana activity at record highs and the wider backdrop beginning to shift, the chart is starting to look especially interesting.

Solana Price Prediction: Has SOL Just Broken Out Toward $150?

SOL is trading around $97 after breaking above a falling wedge that had trapped the price in a steady downtrend for months.

The breakout is bullish, but the next few levels will show whether buyers can turn it into a much larger move.

The first major resistance sits around $115, the 0.236 Fibonacci retracement level. If SOL clears that area, the chart opens toward roughly $150, followed by $178 and $200.

Beyond there, $225 comes back into play before the larger $250 target zone.

Momentum is powerful, but looks stretched. RSI is around 79, meaning SOL is overbought and could cool off before continuing higher.

If the breakout fails, $60 remains the major long-term support zone. But with record network activity, potentially easier financial conditions and peace hopes improving, the bullish setup now has several catalysts behind it.

If Solana Is Breaking Out, What Could Be the Next Big Opportunity?

Solana’s latest surge shows how quickly money can move once investors believe the conditions are changing.

But the biggest opportunities may not come from chasing SOL after it has already broken higher.

They could come from identifying the technologies and investment themes attracting capital before the shift becomes obvious.
