ABOUT FRANK
Frank Trotter has been in banking since 1981, and has spent most of that time building what the traditional system didn't offer. In 1986 he created WorldCurrency, one of the first ways for everyday Americans to hold their savings in foreign currencies instead of the dollar alone.
In 1998 he co-founded everBank.com, one of the country's first national direct-to-consumer banks, serving as chairman of everBank.com and chairman of EverBank Wealth Management through the company's sale to TIAA in 2017.
Today he's chief executive officer of Battle Bank, an FDIC-insured national bank built for self-directed savers, pairing competitive yields and low fees with access to foreign currencies, precious metals, and self-directed retirement tools.
In 1998 he co-founded everBank.com, one of the first national direct-to-consumer banks in the country. Over the next two decades he served as chairman of everBank.com, president of EverBank Direct, and chairman of EverBank Wealth Management, through the company's sale to TIAA in 2017. everBank later acquired the WorldCurrency line he'd built years earlier and ran it as its own.
Today Frank is chief executive officer of Battle Bank, an FDIC-insured national bank he helped launch to give self-directed savers the access most banks won't: competitive yields, foreign currencies, precious metals, and self-directed retirement tools, with low fees and no fine print. He holds a BA from St. Olaf College and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
